It offers a stunning view of Verona and is considered to be a romantic spot.

Porta Borsati

The Porta Borsari, a southwestern gateway of Verona was built in the 1st Century B.C. Porta Iovia originally was named Porta Iovia. This is where a temple to Jupiter was located. In the middle ages, it was used by customs officials. This small gate with two arched entrances is a surviving example of Roman monumental architecture. While it is no longer in use, it does have a number of fascinating artifacts.

Piazza Bra

The promenade of Piazza Bra in Verona features pink marble, paving the plaza's northern edge. The centre of the square features an equestrian monument to Vittorio Esmanuele II, who was the first king of Italy. The statue, unveiled on 9 January 1883, commemorates the five-year anniversary of the king's death.
